dc.description.abstract Once Saxony, Holstein, Schleswig and Bavaria had been fallen into the Prussian trap, and after Austria had left the North German Union after the lost battle of Sadowa, the Germans are now aiming to trap the Austrians again, represented here by the Austrian twin-headed eagle (Austria and Hungary). Only two years later, Bismarck succeeds in signing an agreement between Germany, Austria and Russia.
