Abstract:
“For the Love of the Father” is about the Saada clan, a Jewish family uprooted from Tunisia to France in the 1960s. Through the eyes of Alice, now a successful defense lawyer and the youngest of four sisters, we learn about their traumatic departure from North Africa; the mystery of the disappearance of the youngest sibling; and, how the challenges of their life in France affect their father, each sister and the family dynamics.
