dc.description The ovoid ceramic lamp has a vertical, conical handle, a rimmed hole at one end and a small hole in the opposite, elongated end. The large hole is encircled by an enclosed ray pattern and two petals decorate the lengthened end. A rim runs around the whole object on the top. The base has a circular rim, the body worn and heavy encrusted with dirt. There is back residue around the spout opening, indicating use in antiquity.
