Abstract:
Jewish service learning is experiencing a trajectory of unprecedented expansion. The success of these immersive programs depends in large part on the knowledge, skills, and abilities of program leaders. Service group leaders play a critical role in shaping a meaningful experience of service, learning, reflection, and Jewish living. This report describes the research findings on the inaugural session of Group Leadership Training Institute (GLTI), collaboratively developed by American Jewish World Service, PANIM Institute of BBYO, and Jewish Funds for Justice.
