dc.description Archaic Roman, c. eighth to seventh century B.C.E.
dc.description The bronze bull has a long, hanging tail that seems to be attached to his back legs. He stands on a rectangular base with two steps. He has a protruding hump on his shoulders and a sagging piece of skin on his neck. His facial features are barely detectable. The surface suffers from “bronze disease.” Tip of his left horn is broken off.
