dc.description.abstract A servant asks if a catastrophe is really coming on June 13th, and the man replies that there is always hope because a newspaper has reported that the comet has been been delayed a day. The return of the comet Charles-Quint was predicted for June 13, 1857. It was expected to hit the earth and the end of the world was foreseen.
