dc.description.abstract In this paper we present a model for analyzing discontinuous shear thickening (DST) in suspensions. We perform analysis on force tiles obtained from 2D simulations of suspensions undergoing DST. Using point pattern analysis techniques, including spatial correlations and structure factors, we investigate the patterns of vertices from the force tilings. We attempt to characterize a phase transition from these patterns in force space. en_US
