dc.description.abstract The defendants of the April trials are "celebrating" the anniversary of the "Trois Glorieuses" in their cells. Prisoners at Sainte Pélagie are looking through the prison bars at the celebrations of July. Sainte Pélagie was located in Rue de Puits de l'Ermite and was used mainly for political and financial prisoners. The prison was often used to hold journalists and editors of Republican papers. en_US
