The Brandeis Library is in the process of moving the Brandeis Institutional Repository to a new platform and rebranding to ScholarWorks

ScholarWorks preserves and provides access to the research and creative scholarship created by Brandeis faculty, students, and staff. The research papers, theses, dissertations, books, reports, interviews, data and multimedia here represent Brandeis’s rich intellectual and cultural community. To deposit your work, please contact us at librarypublishing@brandeis.edu.

Welcome to the Brandeis Institutional Repository, established in 2008. The Brandeis Institutional Repository is a resource for the Brandeis community to showcase, organize, share, and preserve research and scholarship in an Open Access repository.

Why deposit in an institutional repository?

  • Research and creative works are more widely available, increasing scholarly communication
  • Contributors are assured of a digital repository with permanent URLs
  • Long term preservation of scholarly output in a wide range of formats is assured
  • Brandeis research and education are showcased in one location

Organization of the Brandeis Institutional Repository:

The content is organized in ‘communities’ that reflect the academic and administrative structure of Brandeis University. For example, the community for the School of Arts and Sciences has ‘sub-communities’ for each department and program. Within the communities or sub-communities, ‘collections’ of works can be organized by research group, individual faculty members, content type or other logical groupings that meet the community’s need.
